PODCASTING!

Podcast is a way to call audio files on the internet, but the differece is you can subscribe to those!
The podcast word was inventid with the join of two words Pod (portable on demand) and broadcast.
Audio files should be stored on a server with .mp3 or .ogg extension.
.ogg is an extension used mostly on mac computers.
Nowadays this word is also been used on multimedia broadcasts on the net.
Most podcast are been published on rss feeds, so you can subscribe to those and get refreshed every new file!
To read a podcast, you need a normal multimedia player as could be windows media player, or apple iTunes.

Fallas!!

Well, Fallas are the feast of the city of Valencia.

That celebration used to be more or less a week in the past, but nowadays, it's up to 15 days, (from 1st to 19th March).

I've to tell you that the real party is only a weekend, from 1st to 15 there are only "mascletas" which are a show with fireworks which explode all at the same time, every day at 14pm at the town hall square.

The most famous thing about Fallas celebration are the monuments, which are burnt every year on 19th as the end of the feast. those monuments are built during the year by some "artistas falleros".

But fallas don't finish here, there're also a lot of things more, like the despertà, which is people making sound to wake up others, The nit del foc, which is a night where a famous firework artist makes a show whith her best.

And a lot of more things like catholic activities which i've never been in one.

I like fallas, for the holiday and the party, but i don't like so much the sculptures or mascletas because are most of right wing viewed persons.

The greenhouse effect

Well, the greenhouse effect is because of our fault because we don't care about our planet and if we continue like that we'll destroy it.
It's the effect which produces to increase heat on earth by don't letting go out solar radiation.
i'll explain it better, solar radiation enter in our planet and if there weren't gases produced by us that radiation will gou out but we are creating every year even more than the last year so every day there're more gases created by factories, cars, and a lot of more insane products so radiation can't exit as it needed so the earth is getting hotter each day.
If we continue like that the medium temperature will be increased, so the earth poles will deice and the sea level will increase so some island could dissapear.
We have to do something to stop it!!

Other XmaS!

Well i think there are other cultures like English who celebrate more christmas than us because they've father christmas, they decorate their houses, they sing christmas carols and they send christmas cards and some other things.

I think in france is more o less than here.

And as i know in africa in most of the places don't know what is christmas so it is so sad.

In south africa they celebrate new year on summer.

Christmas in Spain

I think we're very lucky on christmas because almost all Spanish people uses to Celebrate at least, Father chistmas or "Los Reyes Magos". So Christmas Should start at december's first day and finishes on 6th january.

On 24th december we celebrate "noche buena" which is the day, Father christmas comes to our houses, and on 25th we have the presents and we use to go to have lunch with the family. On 31th december which is called "noche vieja" we have a tradition which is to eat 12 graps whithing the clock sounds 12 o'clock, (one per second).

And finally on 6th "Los Reyes Magos" come to our houses, and this is like father christmas.

We won the contest!

Last year our teacher Maria, selected us for a blog contest at Valencia's university.
we've been working hard to make those blogs, and we have improve our language and technology skills.
I think this is a great way to learn because it's easier and you learn a lot of things per each blog you made.
Last month Maria told us we have won the blog contest of Valencia's university we were very impressed because of whole valencian community we have won!.
On december we have to go to take the prize which is going to be money for school goods but equally we are so happy!.

Cancun police

I have been looking on the newspaper and i've found the great noticed new have been on those days on tv, of the spanish tourist arrested in Cancun's airport of the country of Mexico.
The arrested was a spanish woman from Galicia who has gone to Cancun to an after wedding journey.
They were going to return to Spain and when they were at the airport ready for board a police came and arrested her, she didn't know why until they told her they have found some gun ammun, ahe doesn't know about what they were talking and they bring she into jail.
upon a week has expired and her family has come to cancun to talk with the judge they let her to leave the country and come to Spain.
I think she hasn't got any ammun but someone, (also could be a police because there weren't the same explanation from one to other)has put it into his trolley and while the police is looking for his trolley he or she has passed the security check without problems.

Worst subway accident in Spain

Yesterday, here in Valencia occur the worst subway accident in Spain and one of the worst of the whole world.
In the morning of 3rd of july 2006 one train was leaving the station of A.guimera in valencia's subway, the driver took it to maximum speed 80km/h in a dangerous bend where he has have to be at the half of speed and the train derrailed before arriving to jesus station, killing more than 40 people.
That was cause the goverment spend the money in some other things like some visits.
cause this in Madrid never could happend cause there's a security system that don't allow the driver to speed up the train an it reduce speed automatically in bends. all this chaos is fault of our politics.

The school has finished!

last week we finished the school with a great marks, and now it's time to have our biggest holidays in the whole year, whe have at least 3 months, so i think this will be a nice summer.
Now it's time to do whatever we want and be relaxed!!

Uranium enrichment: I don't know so much as well what it means but i've heard some opinions and i now know, uranium enrichment is for provide nuclear energy but also with this energy you can create nuclear bombs, and there are some countries like iran, and they are providing energy by nuclear mode but also in the other side they can create nuclear weapons that's why the "naciones unidas" are trying to stop iran's nuclear activity.

Stop fire E.t.a.

Eta is or was (i don't know how to tell it) a criminal group who were trying to make independence the Basque country in the north of spain and they were killing people and putting bombs for that.

But those days they have tell a permanent stop fire and that's they are going to stop killing.

I think that was because they were the last criminal group in europe so the were finished and also because Zapatero has made business with they to stop killing, they also had given advice than people for catalonia have won more things in a year with the "estatut" than they killing in a lot of years .

the role of iran

I don't know so much things about iran's role i just know they're trying to do nuclear activities but the usa says it's dangerous because they can create nuclear weapons and they may throw one of those weapons in a country and make a lot of dies, but this is just they're doing at irak.

Irak nowadays

the situation nowadays in irak is so bad because they're in war. a civil war and a war with the usa because George Bush wants the petrol from irak for his country, so this is the change of lifes for money. the civil war is produced by religion because chiitas and sunies (i don't know if is the correct word) are killing everytime.

i like all the characters but if i've to tell someone i tell the child because i liked so much his history.

they were in love since the first time they saw it was a first time look love they finally finish together.

love actually is a romantic comedy because the director want's thet his fil was that kind.

write two diferences between british & spanish sense of humour.
i dont know so much well but i think english sense of humour is more quite and educate than spanish sense of humour.

France interculturality:
i don't know what is happening in france so much but i think it's because two people of a marginal district were died because they've enter in a high voltage tower when were followed by two policeman.
but the problem is no that, the problem is the marginal or intercultural peolple districts haven't got services so they finally explode and burn the cars is their form to declared against it.

but the pp is not in agreement and is a controversy because they say is unconstitutional.

Melilla:
the situation in melilla can't be worst because the immigrants want to cross the frontier with spain but spain has to put those fences because is a country of the european union and all countries in the european union with frontiers in others countries without beeing in the european union have to put the fences.
i dont know how did they have to do because i dont know what are the laws in the european union.

Harold pinter:
he is a writer and in 2005 he has been awarded for a nobel for literature.
he was born in london on 1930.
he is an actor, a poet a director, a writer etc.
he has wrote a lot of theatre plays.

The acampada Experience.
the acampada was great but a bit tired because we didn't sleep so much and i was very very tired the last day.
our food was great because we are a good cookers with a lot of talent XDDD!!
the worst thing i thought yo think the same, was climb the mountain, the big walking it was horrible i thought my legs were going to die.
and mount the tent was another bad thng because it was very hot!!.

what does it mean?
its someone that don't know how functions digital machines and the modern technology, like mobiles, computers and some electronic and digital machines.
that person also dont know some phrases or word used in the digital term like, cpu, cd, or dvd.

Are you digitally illiterate?
I think, i'm not digitally illiterate because i know how functions the electronic and digital machines.
I also know how to configure some of these things and i know some special phrases and terms.

Your opinion.
i think we need to know these thing because are going to be neccessary to our works and in the future if you dont know some thing about that you are going to be an useless person.
the same is going to happen with the english and if you dont speak english the life is going to be difficult to you.
